Having Dick as the rambunctious, feral, and unhinged first child must've given him SO much whiplash once Jason entered the picture. Lil guy just vibed in his own world. Just reading books and doing schoolwork. Baby Jason hurt nobody.

Bruce will just be going over the ground rules of the manor, remembering all the chaos Dick brought upon the household.

Bruce: No swinging from the chandelier.

Jason: ?? I wasn't planning to?

Bruce: No murder.

Jason: What? That never even crossed my mind-

Bruce: And please, for the love of God, don't sneak out and try to beat up the nearest criminal on our block

Bruce will just come home from a long day of work. He's tired and just wants a nice, quiet evening, but he's subconsciously psyching himself up to prepare himself for the chaos he'll witness once he enters the manor

but then Jason's just quietly doing his own thing, maybe even helping Alfred with some chores, reading, or just lounging about in the manor. In general, just causing no trouble and Bruce just turns to Alfred, all worried like, "Is he sick? I don't think children are supposed to behave this way."

I wonder if it ever drove Rimmer mad that he couldn’t eat while he was a soft-light hologram.

Cus back in his childhood, he couldn’t have food unless he answered astro-navigation questions correctly. So I wonder if he went bonkers with insecurity because since he didn’t fix the drive plate correctly, he was then being punished with no food nearly permanently.

Yes, Rimmer can have hologram food, but is it the same? Plus we barely see him eat any food in soft-light mode except for one sandwich.

Or the other explanation is that when Rimmer was alive since he’s not used to having food unless he’s actively hungry so he doesn’t eat at all. So when he died, there is no hunger therefore no excuse to eat really.

But even though he doesn’t need to eat himself, he bears in mind that others do. Like in Marooned when Rimmer listed out available foods for Lister to eat and told him to pace himself. Also in Tikka to Ride, when the crew had to set up camp for the night in Dallas and he told Kryten to get food (even though he did cook a dead man they found on the street).

Whenever Rimmer gets a body temporarily, the first thing he does is eat something. Maybe because of the pent up hunger over the years or something I dunno. So I think when he finally got a hard-light body, he probably thought his probation was released and was no longer getting punished.

The man probably has a complicated relationship with food all his life leading to eating disorders and such. But I don’t think we see him eat at all after becoming hard-light after Legion except for sipping tea and that’s it.

Bakugou groans when the fast food worker does a double take of him waiting in line at the Drive-Thru, the McDonald’s on the outskirts of Central Musutafu the only place open after two am.

He probably should’ve changed out of his hero costume before turning up to the restaurant, but when he received a call from you just before the end of his shift he knew it was an emergency. The adorable, sleepy lilt to your voice had him dropping everything in favour of sourcing nuggets in the early hours.

Only his pregnant wife could coax him away from his regular commute to pick up something that should satiate the cravings, thankful that somewhere was still open so he didn’t have to disappoint you with something from the local kombini.

Sending you a tired selfie with the bag safely in the passengers seat before making his way home to you🥺

Summary: In which Nikto comes back home after deployment, bringing not just himself, but a handful of gifts you've been wishing to have.

Another peaceful night.

Days, weeks, months has passed since you've seen Nikto. His touch still lingers on your skin, his pale blue eyes plastered into your mind like a koala clinging onto it's tree.

You quietly laid on the bed, exhausted after a long day of studying for your finals. You missed his presence, truly, he made things easier without even realizing it. Thoughts clouded in your mind, memories hitting against each other like bricks.

You've always thought to yourself, was his job really worth his life?

Just as you were about to dozed off, the familiar click of your front door echoed through the hollow rooms. Your eyes shot open, sitting up quickly as you catched a pair familiar eyes through the small gap between the door from your bedroom— Nikto.

You nearly squealed like a school girl, rushing back to your feet as you swung the door open. Rushing towards him, his arms wrapped around your small body— muscles relaxing as he lets out a small huff.

All of that fighting, the blood of living creatures— just to come home to you safely.

Your head muzzled to the crook of his neck, seeking his warmth desperately as the emotions of despair evaporated into the cold air. He chuckled with amusement, chest rumbling before he gave a small peck on your forehead. His mask hid most of his facial features, yet you can feel his smile radiating.

“Nikto,” his named rolled of your tongue, hands on his back as you kept him close to you.

“маленький голубь,” you heard him mutter underneath his breath— voice full of emotions.

The corner of your lip tugs into a warm smile, hearing his voice for the first time after months of loneliness. Suddenly, your eyes catched onto something behind him— letting out a small breath you didn't know you were holding, you pulled away for a brief second just to look up at his eyes.

His arm loosened up around you, looking down at you— seeming absolutely lovestruck to see you again.

“I've.. got something for you,” he murmured out, sounding more excited then you are.

You tilted your head to the side with curiosity, before giving him a small look that says ‘what?’ in such a manner that makes his heart aches. He smiled briefly beneath his mask.

He turned to the side slightly, just to see a handful of gifts— there were things that you have wished for inside of it.Your eyes sparkled with amusement and shocked, not expecting him to bring such a gift for you. Your eyes glanced between him and the gift, before your smile spreads wider.

“Nikto..” you sighed out. “Are you gonna be my new Santa Claus?”

He scoffs, shaking his head in amusement before giving you a small look. His gaze softened at the sight of you.

Been seeing this picture going around a lot today, and just to let folks know, David's sweatshirt isn't a generic "College" sweater--it's actually an homage/copy of a sweater from the 1978 movie Animal House! John Belushi as Bluto wore the sweater in the film:

Started watching the Bayverse movies with my besties and... Are we just too gay for these movies??? Admittedly we only finished the first two and got through a quarter of the third, but the second one was such a drag to sit through at times and it probably doesn't help that we do NOT care about Sam that much. I hope that there is a character arc for him in the rest of the third movie. Because so far he has not been fun to watch in that one. He just comes off as a slight manchild to me, like... I can see why he would be frustrated with where he is in life but the way he acts with others and lashes out does not help him in the slightest. I do have to admit though that seeing him go to Cybertronian Heaven in the second movie was the funniest part for me and my besties lol.

I'll just hope that the other guy in the next movies will be at least a bit more interesting. Doesn't even have to be a good guy, just an interesting guy for me lol
